Proud of YOU

Recently I was able to spend 36 days with my son Jack Jr and his family. I had a wonderful time. We went and saw many things, parks, ice cream trucks and many more things. I was able to watch and be a part of their family. I know that I don't have to worry about them, they make a great family and it is me who is honored to be a part of it. A mother always wonders if she raised her children right. I know that he really was listening to me even though I thought he wasn't. As I watched them as parents I could not ask anymore of them, they are doing a great job! I am so proud to see them having family prayer, family home evening and reading the Book Of Mormon together as a family. They are always going to be a close family, you can feel the spirit in their home!!!!!Thank-you son and daughter!!!!

One Day At A Time Mike

Today, July 6, 2009, Mike takes his first treatment of Chemo. Just wanted you to know I remembered, I am fighting with you. Mama calls all the time and puts you name in the Temple, that's what she did for Big Jack and look at him now, mama has enough Faith for the world. Remember that it is very important how you think about things, it makes a big difference. Remember Coulter's don't go without a FIGHT. As for my home you are in our prayers and thoughts. Families stick together!!!!! I know this is going to be a hard fight, but one that must be fought. I Love You Big Brother!!!!! Remember there are rainbows, with Life at the end of this one!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Savannah

You may have thought I had forgotten, but how can you forget the birth of your 3rd baby!!! You have brought much joy into my life. I knew from the momment I held you , you were meant to be my daughter. Even though many tears were shed for you, you made it. You have a very special reason for living, even when the doctors didn't give you a chance!!! It was alot of hard work and a whole lot of praying for you. You are a very special daughter I wouldn't change a thing. You have grown up so fast now a wife and mother of a beautiful son, Kason. What a lucky little boy he is to have you as a mother. Always remember we Love You!!!

Family Home Evening

Monday night was always special at Jack's, Family Home Evening. There was a poster on the wall telling what you were to do that night, songs, prayer, lesson or treats. Of course Ellen loved to lead the singing. This reminded me of her great-grandma Starks in church as I was growing up. It was a very special time for me. Thanks mommy and daddy for giving them these memories and learning about the Gospel. They will never forget, neither will you. You make me Proud to watch this!!!! Miss our special times!! We should all be doing this on Monday night!!!!!

It's been a long time!!!!!

Just wanted to get everyone up to date on everything!!!!! I have been gone to Lubbock to stay with Jack Jr and his family. I had a great time, didn't realize how much I would miss them , Until I came home. I like being home, but I sure do miss the routine of everything, Yes even being woke Up early. Jack Jack and Ellen sure make life seem so simple!!!! Rose has a way of making your heart melt. Kason came this week he sure has grown, crawling everywhere and pulling up on everything. I never thought I would want to be a grandmother, but I am Nana, The LORD knew what he was doing. I Love seeing a part of me that will keep on going!!!!!! No matter How far Jack goes I can see my influnce on them. something that I will always cherish!!! I hope they will remember the special times we share. Jack Jr takes the bar at the end of the month, his dream since since seventh grade!!!! I have all the faith in the world in you Jack!!! I have been able to see How Jack and Loraine are raising the kids, I am so proud of them.
